Kindergarten Reading Program – Mike Cassidy, Chair
Our kindergarten reading program began at Sunnyslope Elementary School in 1993 and now operates in 9 of the 10 elementary schools in the South Kitsap School District. Between October 2023 and May 2024, Kiwanis members read to 29 classes for a total of 583 students. High quality, age-appropriate books were gifted to the Kindergarten students!

A Wonderful Thank You card was received from the Kindergarten Classes at Mullenix Ridge Elementary School showing all the books read to them this year! Each child received a book by the end of the term!
