Kindergarten Reading Program – Mike Cassidy, Chair
Our kindergarten reading program began at Sunnyslope School in 1993 and now operates in 9 of the 10 elementary schools in the South Kitsap School District. Between October and May 2023, Kiwanis members read to 33 classes and 609 students. High quality, age-appropriate books were gifted to the Kindergarten students!

A Wonderful Thank You card was received from the Kindergarten Classes at Mullenix Ridge Elementary School showing all the books read to them this year! Each child received a book by the end of the term!
